How automatic update works

Check - The service checks whether a newer IceViewer version is available for this computer.
Confirm eligibility - The service verifies that the release applies to the installed edition and that the license is eligible for the update.
Download - The correct installer is downloaded in the background and its Black Ice digital signature is verified.
Wait for a safe time - Installation begins during the configured maintenance time when IceViewer and related work are not blocking the update.
Install - The signed installer runs silently. The update window shows the current stage and asks users to close IceViewer when necessary.
Finish - The service verifies the installed version and reports success, failure, or the need to restart Windows.
