Automatically updating IceViewer

The Black Ice Automatic Update runs as a Windows service and checks the Black Ice update server without requiring IceViewer to be open. This companion software identifies the installed IceViewer edition, version, Windows type, and installer type so that it can request the correct update package.

With the default settings, the updater downloads an applicable update in the background. It waits for the scheduled update time interval (2AM – 6AM) to start the installer. The update window reports progress and tells you if any action is required.
