The Image PDF SDK/ActiveX
plug-in enables the conversion from different image
formats to the popular PDF (Adobe Portable Document
Format) file format. Using the PDF SDK/ActiveX plug-in,
any color or monochrome image type supported by
the Black Ice imaging toolkits can be converted
into image PDF format.
The current release includes 1-bit, 8-bit color, 8-bit
grayscale and 24-bit color support.
The Image PDF SDK/ActiveX
plug-in provides easy to use, high level functions,
which can be easily integrated into any new or existing
application.
Since it includes both a DLL and an OCX, PDF read and
write capabilities can be accessed with a variety
of programming languages, including C/C++, VB, Delphi,
C#, VB .NET and more.
The Image PDF SDK/ActiveX
plug-in includes several sample applications with
full source code. These sample applications
demonstrate how to create and display image PDF
files and can be used as a starting point for most
applications.
Image PDF Write/Generation
The Image PDF SDK/ActiveX
plug-in enables the conversion of any
image formats supported
by the Document Imaging SDK/ActiveX into the popular
PDF (Adobe Portable Document Format) file format.
Using the Image PDF SDK/ActiveX plug-in, any color
or monochrome image type supported by the Black
Ice imaging toolkits can be converted into image
PDF format. Generated PDF files can be compressed
using a variety of available compression methods,
and can be single or multi-page.
Image PDF Read/Display
Application developers
can create and display image PDF files within their
own applications using the Image PDF SDK/ActiveX
plug-in. The Image PDF SDK/ActiveX plug-in
can display and decode image PDF files such as those
created with the Image PDF SDK/ActiveX plug-in or
any of the Black Ice PDF Printer Drivers.
Developers can recall specific pages from a multi
page image PDF file for display.
Multiple bit depths supported
The Image PDF SDK/ActiveX
plug-in
supports the following bit depths:
- 1 bit
- 8 bit
- 8 bit grayscale
- 24 bit
Multiple compression methods supported
The Image PDF SDK/ActiveX
plug-in
supports the following compression methods:
- No compression,
the image is embedded inside the file without
any compression
- CCITT for 1-bit
images
- JPEG compression
- Runlength Compression
- Flate Compression

Ctrix XenApp (Citrix Presentation Server)/XenDesktop
Visual
