The Black Ice Tiff Viewer Browser Plug-in utilizes ActiveX controls to display tiff images. Firefox does not support ActiveX technology. However, there is a free extension to Firefox called "IEtab". Once this extension is installed and configured, the Black Ice Tiff Viewer Browser Plug-in will work with Firefox.

Please follow the steps below to setup the Black Ice Tiff Viewer for Firefox:

1. After installing the Black Ice Tiff Viewer, start Internet Explorer (32-bit) once to finish the Tiff Viewer browser plug-in installation for Internet Explorer.

2. Download and install the IEtab extension for Firefox. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/92382/

3. When the IEtab extension is installed in your browser, go to "Tools/IEtab 2 Options" and on the Sites filter tab add the "*.tiff" and the "*.tif" rules.

4. Once IEtab is configured to handle tiff files, Tiff Viewer Browser Plug-in will automatically display tif files in your Firefox browser.

Note: The Drag and Drop feature of Tiff Viewer Browser Plug-in will not work in Firefox
