The Cut Image is used primarily with faxing application, In some cases manually fed fax machines can combine several pages into a single long continuous fax page without the senders knowledge. The Cut Image functionality of the Document Imaging SDK/ActiveX allows developers to cut up a long page into smaller individual pages in the same manner as one would cut a received paper fax.
