Scanning

IceViewer HTML5 supports most TWAIN-compatible scanners, including devices from HP, Xerox, Ricoh, Epson, and many others. TWAIN is a widely used interface standard for scanners and digital cameras.

To use the scanning feature, the IceViewer HTML5 Scanner Application must be downloaded, installed, and running on the Client computer.

To start the application, navigate to the Scan tab and click the Start It option.

If the Scanner Application fails to start, IceViewer HTML5 assumes it is not installed and displays links to download the 32-bit or 64-bit installer. Download and install the appropriate version of the Scanner Application.

Once the Scanner Application is installed and running, IceViewer HTML5 is ready for scanning.
