An online purchase made through the Store receives 30 days free limited technical support for problems related to the installation and operation of the software.

Black Ice Technical support excludes all hardware installation. We recommend contacting the hardware manufacturer directly for assistance installing or configuring fax or voice hardware.

Guidelines to submit technical support requests, please include as much of the following information as possible:

  • Name of the product and the place of purchase
  • Detailed description of your environment such as:
  • CPU speed and memory used
  • Operating System and service pack number
  • Operating System language edition, for example: Chinese
  • Fax, Voice Board or Modem name. In some cases, model number. Internal or external device
  • Product name, such as Impact Fax Server, Voice Server etc
  • The version number of the product, date of purchase and/or invoice number
  • Detailed description of the problem including steps to reproduce the issue
