Black Ice Software Announces Print2RDP V4.0 Release - Simplifying Terminal Server printing as we know it.

Amherst, NH April 16, 2007 -- Black Ice Software, LLC (“Black Ice"), a worldwide provider of imaging, printing and communication applications and development tools, today announced the release of Version 4.0 of the Print2RDP terminal server printing application. Formerly known as "ePrintAnywhere", Print2RDP is designed to alleviate the amount of administration required by Citrix and Windows Terminal Server system administrators to provide printing solutions to their users.

With version 4.0 of Print2RDP Black Ice Software now incorporates User-Mode printer driver technology to increase reliability and security by moving operations away from the Server’s kernel and also now includes support for 64 bit Windows operating systems and Microsoft’s Vista operating system.

Using Print2RDP, terminal server administrators no longer have to worry about mounting and maintaining client printer drivers or configurations. Print2RDP removes and eliminates the need for system administrators to bog themselves down attempting to support their terminal server user’s printing needs.

Print2RDP dynamically configures itself to present the printing user with a seamless solution allowing them to print any file from a terminal server environment directly to their local or network PC. Print2RDP is compatible with any available windows printer driver, including USB printers, network printers and even virtual printer drivers used in fax and document imaging applications. Print2RDP minimizes the amount of data transferred to the client machine, thus optimizing bandwidth usage as well as speeding up the overall printing process.
