This tutorial is designed to explain how to scan and fax a document using Impact ColorFax Lite or the Impact ColorFax.  The procedure is generally the same no matter what scanning hardware is used.  For example, Lexmark, Hewlett Packard or Cannon etc…  Several steps need to be followed.  Please see below for information on each step.

Selecting a Twain source (scanner)

The first step is to select the Twain source that will be used for the scanning. Open Impact ColorFax and select the “File" menu item and then “Select Twain Source". The following dialog box will appear:
