There are two** types of logs generated during a Fax broadcast. A Broadcast.log and a Success.log are generated for each broadcast. These log files are stored in comma separated values (CSV). They can be opened using the Impact Fax Broadcast application, or using any text editor which supports CSV. The log files for every broadcast are stored in a separate directory. The installation directory of the Impact Fax Broadcast contains a subdirectory named Broadcasts. Every time a new broadcast is started, Impact Fax Broadcast creates a new directory in the Broadcasts directory and stores both log files in this directory. The name of the directory is built from the current date and time. For example, if the broadcast was started at 01/03/99 17:51:48, the name of the directory will be 010399175148.
** There is also a third log generated called original.log which is used internally by Impact Fax Broadcast.
By default, the broadcast.log is located in the following location:
c:\Users\<<USERNAME>>\AppData\Roaming\Fax Broadcast\Broadcasts\<<BROADCAST DATE>>\broadcast.log
<<Username>> and <<Broadcast Date>> must be substituted with the current user, and date of the broadcast.
NOTE: Please note that AppData is a hidden folder, therefore hidden folders must be enabled on the system to see the folder.
