The content based file naming has far reaching implications on many fields such as accounting, billing, invoicing, medical applications, and database indexing where the document file name MUST reflect critical information such as invoice number, purchase order number or patient number in the document name.

The content based file naming will have significant effects on sending emails silently in batch mode without any user interaction and on sending emails manually in the interactive mode using Outlook client or SMTP clients.

The content based file naming enables users to control indexing of their documents based on the actual document name; most commonly used are invoice number, purchase order or patient number, all without additional manual processing of the document.

Additional improvements include updates to Task emails and Content Filtering of the Document name. Task Emails are a great feature of the Print2Email; allowing administrators to set up multiple unique task emails with different email configurations. Many customers use this feature to create task emails with specific functionalities, however, the management of these task emails can be time consuming and complicated for system administrators. Based on our customer’s feedback, we added the option to easily save the task email configuration to every user.

The Content Filtering of the document name comes in handy when printing from applications such as Microsoft Word or Crystal Reports, where the program automatically adds the application name to the document name. By default these are now automatically filtered out from the document name. Administrators can also configure specific document name filtering for other applications as well.
