Update Shared printers on the Host and Client

 

In order to properly update the shared printers on the Host and Client, first update the Black Ice Printer Drivers on the Host computer.

 

Once the host is updated, remove/uninstall the shared printer from the client based on the Remove/Uninstall Shared printers from Client computers section.

 

Once removed, configure and share the printers on the host computer based on the Printer Sharing section, and add the shared printer on the client.

 

In case the printer driver is locked, please restart reboot the computer or restart the spooler service by opening a command line (cmd.exe) as Administrator, and type the following commands and then try to add the shared printer to the client again:

 

net stop spooler

net start spooler
