Print2Desktop version 5.0 is released!

Formerly Print2XP


Black Ice Software has released version 5.0 of the Print2Desktop.

Black Ice Software has rebranded Print2XP to better reflect the product functionality. Since the first release of Print2XP, Microsoft released several new operating systems and Print2Desktop is fully compatible with Windows 8 and Windows 7 operating systems.

Black Ice Software's Print2Desktop version 5.0 includes several new improvements in the installation and uninstallation, as well as improvements with the user interface to simplify RDP printing on Windows 8,7,Vista and XP operating systems.

The latest release of Print2Desktop also includes updated documentation and stability improvements to make RDP printing smoother than ever before.

The complete list of improvements in the latest Print2Desktop version 5.0 includes the following:

  • Print2XP rename to Print2Desktop
  • Improved installation/uninstallation process
  • Updated screens and images in the Installation/Uninstallation
  • Added Restart Print Spooler in Installation/Uninstallation
  • Updated user interface to improve user's experience
  • Updated manual
