Printer Drivers version 13.65 is released!
The Black Ice Printer Drivers version 13.65 includes improved content based barcode printing. When the new “Use Embedded Text” option is enabled, the Printer Driver will recognize special character sequences in the printed text to extract the information on the barcode.
The recognized character sequences all start with two ‘#’ characters. Most of these ‘commands’ will cause the driver to remove or alter the printed text and write it in the printed barcode. The recognized command sequences are as follows:
##~~Test1~~
'Test1' will be removed and printed on the barcode.
##**Test2=Test3**
'Test2' will be changed to 'Test3', and the characters after the equation mark will be printed on the barcode.
##**Test4**
'Test4' will be printed on the document and also written to the printed barcode.
For Example;
(The barcode; TOTAL: 19.30, CHANGE DUE: 0.00, 08/11/2012)
The complete list of improvements in the latest Black Ice Printer Driver release includes the following:
- Added "Use Embedded Text" option to the barcode printing
- Added Image SDK demo dlls (version 12.09.209) to 64bit RTKs
- Updated Image SDK demo dlls to version 12.09.209 in 32bit RTKs
- Added image file support to 64bit AutoPrint samples (C++, C#, Visual Basic)
- Added MSI installer for “End User” PDF and ColorPlus Server
- Updated manuals
