Continuous Scrolling for one page view and multipage view is now included in the Tiff Viewer version 12.50!

The Continuous Scrolling single page view mode and multi-page view mode provides a considerably better user experience for document viewing. The Multi-page viewing with Continuous Scrolling feature significantly reduces the time needed to browse through documents and saving users time from going back and forth between pages. The Multi-page view also reduces the number of clicks users need to perform to review or process a document.

Please note, the Continuous Scrolling and multipage view could affect performance on windows servers with multiple users. Multi-page view with continues scrolling is memory intensive, since multiple pages need to be kept in memory. A single black & white tiff page, using 300 DPI letter size, is 1 MB and a color tiff page is 24 MB in memory. Black Ice Software has kept the previously existing view modes in the Tiff Viewer for those users who need to keep existing performance with minimal system requirements.

With Microsoft Office Document Imaging (MODI) reaching End of Life, it is no longer consider to be HIPAA compliant. The Black Ice Tiff Viewer is capable of viewing, editing and printing scanned/faxed TIFF images and other image types, resulting in an ideal substitute for MODI. When paired with the Black Ice Printer Drivers users can convert any file format to Tiff, PDF and more.
