Black Ice Software has released the Print2RDP version 6.27. By deploying the latest version users can take advantage of greatly improved printing speeds, especially when printing large multi-page documents. No longer will users have to wait a few seconds for larger print jobs to begin printing, improving productivity and saving valuable employee time.

The latest release significantly improves the user-friendliness of the Print2RDP as well. System administrators can now more readily take advantage of the "Add every client printer" option and "Use the client default printer on the server" option of the Print2RDP client during deployment with the MSI Installer. These setting allows system administrators to add available client printers automatically to the server or change the default printer for the user(s) without opening the Print2RDP client.

The improved printing speed. of documents was achieved by more efficient handling of temporary files on the Client system. This allows for the printing of the first page to begin in some instance 4-5+ seconds faster. The improved printing speed is most noticeable with receipt printers where speed is critical.

The complete list of improvements in the latest Print2RDP includes the following:

• Interface improvements by moving the "Use the client default printer on the server" and "Add every client printer" to the main window.
• Stability improvement for attaching printers that were installed after the "Add every client printer" option was selected
