This resolution is 204 x 204 dpi internally, but the image is stored as 204 x 98 dpi. This feature is useful when printing from an application that cannot print correctly when the horizontal and vertical resolution values are different. Selecting this setting prints the page correctly and the image can still be faxed.

NOTE: It can also be selected in Force Fax Resolution area by enabling Create faxable image option.

Low resolution (fine fax mode).

This resolution is 200 x 200 dpi internally, but the image is stored as 204 x 196 dpi. This feature is useful when printing from an application that cannot print correctly when the horizontal and vertical resolution values are different. Selecting this setting prints the page correctly and the image can still be faxed.

200 x 200 DPI

If the Fax Output check box is selected, the resolution is 200 x 200 dpi internally, but the image is stored as 204 x 196 dpi. This feature is useful when printing from an application that cannot print correctly when the horizontal and vertical resolution values are different. Selecting this setting prints the page correctly and the image can still be faxed.

300 x 300 DPI

Medium resolution.

600 x 600 DPI

High resolution.

PDF Compact:

Limitation is: 32760x32760 mm / 1289.76x1289.76 inches and equivalent resolutions.

Note, Adobe Acrobat Reader is limited to open PDF files with paper size less than 5080x5080 mm / 200x200 inch. To open PDF files with paper size larger than 200 inches, one can use Foxit reader or Microsoft Edge.
