Adding printer drivers to Document Converter Server

The Document Converter Server is able to convert documents with multiple numbers of printers simultaneously.

The number of maximum available printers is limited by the available CPUs on the system and by the purchased license for the Document Converter Server. Document Converter Server licenses can be purchased for a specific number of printers.

In order to increase the maximum number of printers, please perform the following steps:

1. Contact sales@blackice.com with your serial number, to increase the maximum number of printers on the serial number.

    

2. Once the maximum number of printers is increased, register the Document Converter Server with the same serial number again.

    

   In order to register the Document Converter Server again, go to Info > Change serial number menu item.

    

   

    

3. Enter the serial number, and press the OK button.

    

   

    

4. Once the registration was successful, go to Service Properties.

    

   In the dropdown list of the Number of used CPU core(s), the new maximum number of the available printers appears.

    

   For example, if the serial number originally allowed 1 printer, although the serial number is now increased to allow using 3 printers, in the dropdown list of Number of used CPU core(s), number 3 appears and can be selected.

    

   Change the Number of used CPU core(s) to the required number. The Number of used CPU core(s) equals to the number of used printers for the conversion. For example, if the Number of used CPU core(s) is set to 3, the Document Converter Server will use 3 printers for the document conversion.

    

   

    

5. Press OK to save the changes, and press the Start Conversion button to start the service with the specified number of printers.
