Enhance your Printer Driver functionality by adding the LPD manager

No longer be bogged down with having to find a driver that supports Linux and Windows.

The BiLPDManager is an LPD/LPR Print Server which receives print files from Windows, UNIX, Linux, MAC, AS400, and Solaris host systems via TCP/IP LPR/LPD port and prints them to networked, local, or shared physical or virtual printers. The BiLPDManager can be configured to receive raw data, HPLC, text, or other formats, then print the incoming data to an assigned printer.

Combine the BILPDManager with one of our Black Ice Virtual Printer drivers and you have a robust conversion tool that supports Linux, UNIX, MAC, AS400, Solaris, and Windows platforms.

The BiLPDManager can also support multiple printers, in which case, the client identifies the intended printer by its queue name. This allows for different queues to complete specific tasks or processes. The Black Ice Virtual printer driver can then convert the received data into PDF or TIFF format and automatically save the file in a network drive or upload the file to FTP/SFTP/FTPS, HTTPS web server, or into a SQL database.

System Administrators can also combine the BiLPDManager with the Print2Email to create an automated solution for emailing out reports or documents from UNIX, Linux, MAC, AS400, and Solaris host systems. Combined this with multiple print queues of the BiLPDManager and task or agent printers of the Print2Email to allow for automated email sending of multiple reports without ever having to change settings.
