Did you know the Black Ice Software Printer Drivers can be shared as network printers? This saves customers both time and money by not having to deploy the software to each machine. Instead, Administrators can simply share the printer driver on the network just like any other physical printer.

A shared network printer has many advantages in today’s work environment. Shared network printers are quite simple to set up and very easy to use once configured. Some of the primary benefits include:

• Saving Time: Administrators only have to install the printer driver on one computer. Once installed, it can be shared with only a few clicks and can be used on the entire office network.
• Less Maintenance: You only have to maintain one installed printer, instead of troubleshooting various installed virtual printers on every office computer.
• Better Administration: Every printed document will be gathered to one centralized computer, letting Administrators easily view through and process the documents.

To add even more functionality to shared Printers, Administrators can create Common Task/Agent Printers and share them on the network as well. Administrators can preconfigure and share Agent Printers for common printing tasks for users, minimizing the amount of time consumed if users had to set up the printers each time.

For environments with a large number of print jobs sometimes a single Printer driver is not enough to process a whole network's conversions requirements, causing a bottleneck. With the Multi-threaded Printer Driver, Administrators can have multiple virtual Printers that will load-balance the print jobs, and ensure a quick conversion speed.
