Black Ice Software has released the Print2RDP and Print2Desktop version 6.75 with the capability to attach/mount highly specialized printers from the client to the server. There are some specialized label printers for the shipping industry that use custom applications that are highly integrated with specific physical printers. These applications will not function if they do not find the specific physical printer attached to the computer. One example of these applications is the “DYMO Label” for the DYMO LabelWriter 450 Twin Turbo.

In a Remote Desktop Printing environment, where the specialized printer is in a remote location, the application may not find the required printer driver to function. To overcome this problem the solution is to install the physical printer driver on the server.
The physical printer driver must be assigned to the client's Printer name, so when any client logs into the server, the Print2RDP can identify the attached printer and determine what physical driver should be used with the client’s printer.

Print2RDP and Print2Desktop Version 6.75 is not critical update.
