Version Number in Devmode To assist developers with deploying the Black Ice printer drivers as part of their application, the Black Ice printer drivers now include the printer driver version number in the printer’s devmode. With this new addition, developers can call the new GetDriverVersion function/method from the BlackIceDevmode controls to query the version number of the currently installed Black Ice printer driver. By checking the version of the currently installed driver, developers can determine if the Black Ice printer driver should be uninstalled in order to install a newer version of the driver.
