The total limitation for the file path is 259 characters.
The limitation for the document name in the printer driver is 255 characters, but the total file path cannot be longer than the 259 character limit, if the document name is used as the file name.
Printing applications may have other limitations. If an rtf document name is long and printed from Microsoft Word or WordPad, Microsoft Word prints the document with the full name. WordPad cuts the document name to 32 characters.
