I cannot find my printed documents

 

When printing with the Black Ice Printer Driver, the user needs to have write access permission for the configured Output Directory. When the Output directory is configured during installation, the administrator has write access to any folder. The user may not have write access to the folder after installation. The Output directory can be configured for the Printer Driver in the Control Panel > Printers and Devices > right click on the Printer Driver > Printing Preferences > Filename Generation Tab.

 

If the User does not have “write access” to the configured Output Directory, the Printer Driver cannot generate the output document into the Output Directory, and the user cannot find the printed document.

To solve this problem, contact the System Administrator to configure an Output Directory in the Control Panel > Printers and Devices > right click on the Printer Driver > Printing Preferences > Filename Generation Tab which is writable for the users on the computer.

 

Note:

The output file location can be found in the bi_group.ini file

The default location of this file is: c:\Windows\Temp\bi_group.ini.
