Specifying the File Format

Click on the File Format list box to select the output file type for the driver. Click on the down arrow to scroll through the available selections.

The current selections are:

PDF File format version 1.5

Compact PDF File format version 1.5

Searchable Compact PDF version 1.8

PDF Image File format version 1.4 (Image)

PDF/A File format 1.5

TIFF file formats:

TIFF for CISCO

TIFF for Dialogic boards

TIFF for Gammalink boards

TIFF for NMS boards

TIFF Group 3, 1 Dimension

TIFF Group 3, 1 Dimension, with Fillbits

TIFF Group 3, 2 Dimension

Please note: Certain file formats are special fax file formats e.g TIFF for NMS boards or TIFF for Gammalink. When these special fax formats are selected, the Black Ice printer driver will automatically select the Create Faxable Image option on the Device Settings tab as well as select 204 x 196 DPI fax resolution. Once a non-fax file format is selected after selecting a fax format, this ‘Create faxable image’ option on the Device setting tab should be unchecked.
