Page and Orientation

Under the Page and Orientation tab, users and administrators can configure the BiBatchConverter Server Service to automatically detect the converted document image size and the page orientation.

Scale images to the page size set in the printer driver

Output pages are scaled to match the page size set in the printer driver (Printing Preferences > Device Settings). If the document’s page size differs, it will be resized to fit the printer’s page size.

Keep the page orientation of the document

Preserves the original page orientation. Page size follows the printer driver settings in the Printing Preferences > Device Settings.

Keep the page size and orientation of the document

Maintains both the original page size and orientation for each page.

For example, a document with mixed page sizes and orientations (Letter portrait, A4 landscape, Legal portrait) will retain those settings in the output.

Rotate Landscape page to Portrait

Automatically rotates landscape pages 90° to match portrait orientation.

Keep the color depth of the document (1-bit, 8-bit, or 24-bit)

Preserves the original color depth (1-bit, 8-bit, or 24-bit) in the converted file.

NOTE: The selected output file format must support the original color depth.

For example, if a 24-bit color JPEG is converted and the output format is TIFF, Group 4 is selected, the 24-bit JPEG will be converted to black and white 1-bit TIFF Group 4.

NOTE: Settings under the Image Conversion tab only apply to TIFF, JPEG, PNG, BMP, and GIF file formats.
