The Print2Email does not recognize the default MAPI compatible client, or uses a different client.
Source of the problem
The installed MAPI compatible client, such as Mozilla Thunderbird sometimes does not set itself as a default email client correctly. At this point the Print2Email will detect another email client as the default.
When this occurs one can set the default email client manually. It can be done in the different Windows systems in the following locations:
Windows XP and 2003 : Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Internet Options -> Programs
Windows 7, Vista, and 2008 : Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Default Programs -> Set Your Default Programs
Windows 10, 8.1, 2012: Control Panel > Default Programs > Set Default Programs
