The Printed PDF document name does not match with the converted File name

  Printer Drivers

Description of the problem:
The printed and converted PDF file, from the printer driver, creates a file that appears to be the using title of the PDF file and not the input file name.

The document name is not equal with the file name.
When selecting “Use the document name” the printer driver uses the document name that the printing application passes to the driver.
Therefore, the output filename will be the document name that the printing application sends to the Black Ice Printer Driver.

Solution:
If the PDF document is configured to send the Document Title to the Black Ice Printer Driver, the printer driver created file name will be the Document Title and not input file name. To check the PDF initial configuration in Adobe Acrobat Pro, right click on the document > Document Properties… > Initial View > Window Option area > and check the selected option next to the Show.

Change the Document Title to File Name in the PDF files, save the PDF, and print it to the Black Ice Printer Driver from Adobe Reader, the output file name will be the input file name.
