Document Converter Server does not convert any documents

 

Document Conversion can fail for a variety of reasons and different stages of the printing. To resolve the problem, please try to perform the following steps:

 

  1. If you have installed the Document Converter with newly created BiDCAdmin user, please make sure that you have logged in once with the BiDCAdmin user account on the computer.

     

  2. Make sure that the problematic file formats are checked in the Service Manager > Advanced > File Format Filtering tab, otherwise the Document Converter will not process the files:

     

     

  3. Make sure that the required printing applications (For example: Microsoft Office, Adobe Reader, Foxit Reader) are installed properly, and the Document Converter Server Service Manager recognizes the applications in the Info > Detect Supported Files menu:

     

     

  4. Make sure that you are able to open the problematic document manually with its default application (for example: Microsoft Office, Adobe Reader) on the computer, and no error messages appear from the printing application.

 

If the Document Converter Server still unable to convert any documents, please contact our technical support with the error message from the Service Manager Event Log, and with the problematic document, file.
