Eicon Driver Configuration

 

  1. After rebooting your system, navigate to the Start menuàProgramsàDiva Server for WindowsàDiva Server Configuration Manager.  This will open the following window:


     

  2. You need to add a Modem Pool in order for the Black Ice Software applications to recognize the Diva Server card (the card will show up as a collection of COM ports).  To do this, perform the following steps:

    1. Right click on the Services line and select Insert Modem Pool


       

    2. On the right side of the window, change the number of modems to your desired number (24 recommended for T1 cards)


       

    3. Connect the Modem Pool to the adapter by right clicking on the Modem Pool and dragging the mouse down to the Adapter


     

  3. Save the current configuration from the File menuàSave item.  Save the file somewhere convenient, by default it is named active.cfg.

  4. Activate the new configuration from the File MenuàActivate item.  This will make the new settings the active settings for the board.  This may take a few minutes, and will prompt you to reboot your system.  After rebooting, your system will be ready to go.

 


Gammalink

 

  1. Run the Dialogic System Release 5.1.1 installation

  2. When the installation begins, press the Next button and the following screen will appear.

     

     

  3. You may view the release guide and come back to the installation. When you are done here, choose whether to accept the license agreement.

  4. Type your Name and Company in the fields and press Next

  5. When the following screen appears, choose the Custom installation option by clicking the bottom-most box.

     

     

  6. Check only the GDK box and hit next (see the screenshot below) and click Next.

     

     

  7. A warning will pop up announcing that certain components must be installed for the GDK to properly function. Click Yes on this popup to continue.

     

     

  8. Select the proper ISDN protocols on the next window and click Next

  9. Select the proper DM3 components on the next window and click Next

  10. On the next window, choose whether to ‘Access Documents from CD’ or ‘Install Documentation Locally’ and click the Next button (see screenshot below).

     

     

     

  11. Choose which directory to install the Dialogic drivers by clicking the Browse button and navigating to the chosen directory or simply use the default directory already provided. Click Next to continue.

  12. Choose which program group to add the drivers to and click Next.

  13. The next window will give an overview of the installation options. Your installation may vary slightly. Click Next and the files will be copied.

     

     

  14. After the files are copied, choose whether to run the GDK Configuration Tool and View the Release Guide or not and click Next.

  15. When the following screen appears choose to restart the computer now.

     

     

  16. Shut down the computer and install the Gammalink board.

  17. When Windows starts ensure that it now recognizes a new PCI board

  18. Go to the Control Panel and open the Gammalink Fax application

  19. When the application opens click Auto Detect (see the image below).

     

     

  20. Go into the Start Menu à Programs à Intel Dialogic System Software à Start Gammalink System Service

  21. When the dialog appears, click on the green light to start the process
