The first attempt to install the driver went wrong. Running the setup program says "Do you want to completely remove.." but the printer driver never seems to be removed. Is there anything that can be done to manually remove the printer driver?


If the installation fails the most likely reason is that Install Shield does not remove a key from the registry during un-installation. When you run install on the second time Install Shield finds the key and Install Shield becomes stuck in an uninstall loop.

Solution is to remove the following registry key: For monochrome printer driver
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{2E03
