I have an odd situation that's somewhat long winded so please bear with me. I started this morning by attempting to upgrade our print2rdp server to 5.04 which is running on windows server 2003 standard. When I clicked on server.exe the program launched and uninstalled v5.01. It also came up with some sort of path to file uninstaller error and launched a blank web page. I closed it down and didn't think much of it. I also closed the error box. I restarted server and launched the print2rdp server to adjust settings. Everything seemed to launch normal and I made my naming change then went to close the box by clicking "ok" and an error came up. The error was "pathnotfound". The only way to close the box was to click cancel. From here I decided to uninstall and reinstall the app. Again, uninstall, reboot, install, reboot. This time I get hassled by my serial #. I'm assuming this happened since I tried to uninstall and reinstall a couple times. I ended up sending an email to impactsupport@blackice.com. I never received a reply from them but I suppose something happened because shortly after I was able to register with my serial #. Finally it seemed everything was in working order. I was able to make my changes and exit without any issues.
Now the problem is not all my clients can print. My administrator account and another power user can print just fine but not regular users. What would be the likely cause of this? Corrupt install?
I might try another re-install after work hours tonight but if that fails I'll roll back to version 5.01. Any thoughts?
