Can single broadcast use 2 fax lines simultaneously?

My system set up:
+ Impact Fax Broadcast 6.71
+ 2-port license
+ 2 fax lines, 1 is a PCI fax modem board (USRobotics), the other is a USB fax modem (Hiro)

Each fax line is recognized by IFB, one is COM 4, the other is COM 6.

Question - can faxes of one single broadcast be sent simultaneously using both fax lines?

Right now, when I start a fax broadcast, with multiple recipients, COM4 starts sending, hangs up, and COM6 starts sending. But both ports don't appear to be active at the same time.

I got 2 fax lines and a 2-port license so I can broadcast using 2 lines simultaneously so a given broadcast will be done in half the time. Is this not the case?

Hi Robert,

While watching the Fax Manager may not appear that the ports are running simultaneously, they always are. Each line will undergo different results when faxing, so the timing of each port may be thrown off in terms of working exactly side by side, but both ports are running at the same time and taking care of each number of the fax list sequentially.

I am trying to decide if the software will work on a computer system that has two (2) seperate fax/modems? Like two multitech systems fax/modems in two slots on a motherboard. Any advice?

I have once used this fax software, as far as i know it only allow one line to broadcast at once..i dont think using two lines simultaneously will be possible..
