Remove List and Dashes

We are getting some complaints from numbers already added to our remove list. Should the remove list contain dashes or not? If the send number contains dashes and the one in the remove list does not does this matter, or vice versa?

Thank you for your question. The format of numbers in your Remove list should be identical to numbers in your Fax List(s). Using a universal format for all fax numbers will ensure that the proper format is used in the Remove List.

Would it be possible to have the software remove non-numeric characters to do the compare upon?
In the UK we have FPS (Fax Preference Service) where people can sign up to not be included in the fax mailings, in addition they may contact us not to receive any fax communications, as such it would be very beneficial if the software would make sure that no faxes are ever sent.
By getting the software to do the compare, instead of users would remove the possibility for mistakes.
