Class not registered error when trying to rebuild my Auto-print project

Postby TechnicalSupportTeam » Tue Dec 29, 2015 5:44 am

Description:
An unhandled exception of type 'System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException' occurred when trying to rebuild my project with Auto-print SDK integrated to Any CPU platform. The error is the following: Class not registered.

Solution:
When using the ActiveX (OCX) controls from a .NET application, make sure that you set build platform correctly in Visual Studio.

To use the 32 bit ActiveX controls, you must set the build platform to x86.
To use the 64 bit ActiveX controls, you must set the build platform to x64.

Selecting the build platform in new projects

1. Select the build platform from the Visual Studio toolbar in your project.

2. If the build platform is not in the dropdown list:

b. On the Configuration Manager select the new platform and click on OK
