FileMorph converting excel files

Demo'ing the FileMorph product.
A process dumps out our .xls spreadsheets to a directory on Mondays. The number of files in this directory can range from 0 to 2,000. At this time, I currently have 843 .xls files awaiting conversion. During my initial run FileMorph appeared to be running successfully however it eventually reached a point were it indicated that it could not complete the task with available resources. I attempted to rerun the process in order to isolate the message and on what file number. My question. Does the FileMorph product have a .xls convert procecessing ceiling that anyone is aware of. If not, how many .xls to Tiffs has anyone successfully processed on say a 64 bit Win7 Optiplex 780 Dell with 4gb and no other applications running. At this time, I have reached my FileMorph evaluation conversion limit and I will have to get that adjust in order to continue testing.
