DOS based printing

Postby msis » Mon Dec 05, 2011 1:40 pm

We are using Workstation Basic, which is good old dos based application and always have problems printing. We installed the Demo of Print2RDP and when we go to print we just get blank pages. We have several clients that work but one customer just upgraded their workstations to Windows7 64bit, which is causing these new issues. I was hoping this would be a solution for the future with new hardware and printers, any help appreciated.

Hello,

From the limited information we are not sure what kind of printer you are trying to attach to the server using Print2RDP.
The Print2RDP does not support DOS based printing.
You can try Raster based printing option of the Print2RDP Client.
Open Print2RDP client.
Click on the Preference Tab.
Check “Enable Raster Based Printing” option.
