Failure training in 2400 bit/s

Looking for help if there is a common cause and solution for this error I'm receiving with one of my clients: Failure training in 2400 bit/s. Where do I start to troubleshoot?

An issue like this was resolved in version 10.06 (06-14-2004) of the Fax C++/ActiveX. Our recommednation would be to download the latest evaluation toolkit (11.01) to try for yourself
