When changing the Annotation Text settings from within an application and the annotation text includes fields, the resulting image does not contain the actual value of the fields in the annotation text.


This problem will not occur if there are no fields specified in the annotation text.

Problem Description:
When printing to the Black Ice printer from some applications (Notepad, Wordpad, Paint and Excel) and changing the annotation text by adding or editing fields from within the application, actual value of the annotation fields specified will not be replaced on the generated image. The reason for this is that some applications will not parse the variables and replace them with the correct information when the fields are changed from inside of the application.

Solution:
Change the annotation text fields to the desired fields/values from the Control Panel/Printers window. Annotation text fields modified this way WILL be placed correctly on the generated image.
