SSRS reports in landscape are being forced to print in Portrait

Postby rainmaker » Tue May 30, 2017 9:29 pm

Hello,
Greetings!
Are anyone else facing this issue?

When we print SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) reports in Landscape through Black Ice, Black ice seems to force them to print as portrait.

Our guess is SSRS might be not sending orientation, height or width information (so they might be coming in as NULL) and black ice does not know how to manage this print job with default values.
OR
regardless of what black ice gets, it is printing with its pre-defined setting (i.e. a print job sent in landscape gets squished as a portrait instead of either being printed as landscape or being rotated and printed as portrait.

Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

Thanks,
RM
