Crashing in word - .39 release of Tiff Driver

Postby mshielsc3 » Tue Nov 29, 2016 12:42 pm

Wondering what I can do to debug/tell possibly what Driver calls from Word are occuring OK vs crashing? All the logging stuff I see has to do with logging the spooler/EMF stuff to reproduce rendering issues, but this is more of a code crash situation - and yes that's an older version, but we are in the proces of attempting to update to the latest and re-verify the situation. it's hard since it a few businesses relationships away from our engineers.

Sad thing is even with the .76 drivers - office 64 bit on Windows 2012 R2 64 bit - crashes the Tiff Monochrome driver at every print it seems.

Just tried the standard installation package given to us for the latest release and it crashes too. I can't believe I am the first person bringing this up as an issue.

Office 2016 installation IN 64 bit mode on Windows 2012 R2 server - can not print at all.

Office 2016 installation in 32 bit mode works fine, but our client requires 64 bit Office support and right now we have tried every version I have available with nothing working so far, including the 14.85 that was just released.
