Error in function dAddPrinterDriver2, Error code: 2

We are receiving a Mydll_NT error during installation of ColorPlus 10.32 on Server 2008 datacenter edition Terminal Server.

Error in function dAddPrinterDriver2, Error code: 2.

We are logged directly onto the Server and UAC has been disabled on the server. Any ideas what might be causing this?

I am getting the same error with Win 2008 x64 R2. Also logged in as an admin.

Hello,

You have ColorPlus 10.32, which cannot be installed on a Windows 2008 R2 operating system. Black Ice Printer Drivers support Windows 2008 R2 operating system from version 10.45. You need to upgrade your drivers if you want to use ColorPlus on Win2008 R2.

My issue was not due to Server 2008 R2 (I was using Server 2008 data center edition). This issue was due to the fact that some registry files for another version of black ice ColorPlus driver were not properly removed with the uninstall of the driver. I had to manually uninstall and remove registry keys using the blackice uninstall steps before I could get version 10.32 to install correctly. Error 2 was that the port monitor could not be added at installation time. Hope this helps someone.
