My corporate firewall Servgate's Edgeforce is blocking BlackIce's eLicensing server's traffic and preventing me from successfully licensing.
I receive the following message:
Error receiving answer from the elicense server. Possible errors:
1. The TCP/IP Connection is failed.
2. The port: 80 is disabled in your firewall application
My firewall doesn't block port 80 in a blanket fashion, but perhaps a more sophisticated algorthim identifies the eLicense server as malicious traffic that is worth blocking.
Can anyone give me some more detail about this traffic required to license, and I can try to explicitly allow it through my servgate firewall?
