MSI Installers for Windows/Citrix Servers

MSI Installers for large scale deployments are now available for the Document Converter ColorPlus, PDF, Tiff/Monochrome printer driver for Windows/Citrix servers. Please contact sales for details.

Fully customizable installation through MSI installers

Black Ice Software’s “End User” Document Converter printer drivers are now fully customizable through the MSI Installer. Large scale deployment becomes a simple procedure. System Administrator can create a customized installation for large scale deployment using a simple INI file.

Every aspect of the Document Converter printer driver’s hundreds of features can be custom configured, including Email and SharePoint configuration. System Administrators can silently install the Printer Drivers on every computer when the User logs into the domain the first time through the Group Policy Deployment.

Supported Installation methods using Group Policy Deployment are as follows:

  • Assign to Computer (silent install)
  • Assign to User (silent install)
  • Publish

Additional supported installation method;

  • Installation from command line (cmd.exe)

The customizable MSI installer is now available for Windows Desktop system and Windows/Citrix Servers.


Document Imaging version 12.09 has been released!


Black Ice Software has released the Document Imaging SDK version 12.09. This Document Imaging SDK release includes several stability improvements, updated project files for Visual Studio 2010 and updated documentation.

The complete list of improvements in the latest Document Imaging release include the following:

  • Fixed invert displayed TIFF problem
  • Stability improvement in BiJPEG.dll
  • Stability improvements for printing JPEG images to TIFF
  • Added Visual Studio 2010 project files for the following samples

  • Fixed C++ Tiff Sample Visual Studio 2010 compile errors (32bit)
  • Fixed C++ Image SDK Sample Visual Studio 2010 compile errors (32bit)
  • Updated manuals
