Black Ice Software is excited to release Print2Email 11.57, with several new features to use Environment Variables for email sending and to use Active Directory Domain User email addresses.

In the latest release, users can use Environment Variables for the To, Cc, and Bcc fields when sending emails. This allows Administrators to set up the email sending configuration in a more flexible and automated way for all users.

Environment Variables allow Administrators to change the recipients of emails without ever opening the Print2Email.

The new Print2Email also comes with a built-in variable specifically for domain users, named %currentuser%. When users use this variable in the To, Cc, Bcc field, the Print2Email will use the email address of the Domain User that is currently using Print2Email. This gives Domain Administrators a powerful and centralized way to change the Print2Email recipients directly on the Active Directory Domain Controller.

The new Print2Email has significant enhancements for sending emails through a custom SMTP server using port 465. The latest Print2Email also comes with a new updated Printer Driver, which includes further stability improvements for printing PDF documents and sending them as an attachment.
