Enable Text Stamp Option

It can be necessary for the user to add text as Stamp on the printed documents to mark documents with information relevant to their creation, distribution or storage.

Black Ice Printer Driver can be configured to add a custom text Stamp to a printed document.

To configure Black Ice Printer Drivers to use text Stamp:

1.    Open the Black Ice Printer Drivers preferences.

2.    Click on the Watermark/Stamp tab and check the Enable Text Stamp checkbox.

Text Stamp Configuration

The Text Stamp can contain a user-defined text, the date and the time. The position of the text, the type, the color and the size of the font used to print the text stamp.

The Text Stamp can also contain important background information such as page number, time, date, document title and more, and also makes the printed document to look more professional.

If needed, the printer driver converts the text stamp to the format of the page that is currently printed. For example, if a colored text stamp is specified as a stamp and the printer driver is set to generate monochrome (Black & White) documents, the stamp is dithered to monochrome and the monochrome text is added to the page as a stamp.
