The Annotation features of the Document Imaging SDK/ActiveX operates on a Device Context (DC) given by a HDC handle. It stores and manages all of the drawn objects internally. The Annotation component has two sets of functions, one set of functions to create drawing objects, and one set for displaying the objects on a DC. The higher level functions will capture mouse actions, movements, paint the helper lines, and crop boxes to the given DC.
