
The Printer Restrictions Tab allows you to limit the printers that are allowed to be mapped onto the PC acting as the Server. If the Restriction is set to the Default Printer Only, then if the Client has their default printer selected to be mapped onto the Server, only that printer will appear when an RDP connection is established. Any other printers will be ignored by the Print2XP Server. Additionally, if you check the “Add as Default Printer In the Session” option, the client’s default printer will become the default printer in the user session
Most users will not want to limit this, and thus the default is Client Printer Settings which allows the Print2XP Client to determine which Printers are mapped onto the Server.
By selecting the Client Printer Settings option, the Administrator allows the clients to add or remove printers at their own discretion.
