Why are letters shifting when printing through RDP?

 

Shifted letters when using Print2RDP is probably caused by the software of the printer, for example, HP MX 1132.

When printing preferences are changed on the server side, after logging on through RDP, the software of the printer gives wrong values to the Print2RDP.

 

To fix this problem, perform the following steps:

 

1.    Set the desired printing preferences on the Client operating system.

On Windows 11

Go toStart > Printers and Scanners > Select Printer > Printing Preferences.

 

On Windows 10

Go toStart > Devices and Printers > Right Click Printer > Printing Preferences.

 

On Windows 7

Go toStart > Devices and Printers > Right Click Printer > Printing Preferences.

2.    Log on to the server with Print2RDP.

 

Print the document without changing any printing preferences on the printer.
