Print2Email includes Black Ice Software, LLC’s patented Drag and Drop technology. This option allows you to convert documents into faxable images by simply “dragging and dropping” the desired document onto Print2Emails floating window.
The Print2Email Drag&Drop window can be enabled by pressing the Drag&Drop window option from the Control Center or by right clicking on the Print2Email system tray icon and selecting the Show Drag&Drop window option.
The Drag&Drop window works with the following file types:
*.DOC, *.RTF, *.TXT Microsoft Word must be installed.
* XLS Microsoft Excel must be installed.
*.PPS Microsoft Power Point must be installed
*.HTML, *.HTM Microsoft Internet Explorer must be installed.
*.PDF Adobe Acrobat Reader must be installed
In order to use the Drag&Drop functionality, perform the following steps:
1. Navigate to the file that you wish to fax.
2. “Drag and Drop” the desired file onto the Print2Email Drag&Drop Window. PLEASE NOTE: If you can’t see the floating window then it has probably been hidden. You can unhide the floating window by selecting the Drag&Drop Window option from the Print2Email Control Center or by right clicking on the Print2Email system tray icon and select Show Drag&Drop Window.
Print2Email will then convert the selected document and will launch your email client with the generated file attached.
The size of the Drag&Drop Window can be changed by right clicking on the Drag&Drop window and choosing the Resize Drag&Drop Window option, which will open the following window:
Users can resize the window to meet their specific needs.
